Digi Pack Analysis
We made a digi pack analysis to extend our knowledge into why digi packs are made and what they represent for the artist or band.
End of Module 2 Audit

Moodboard for digi pack
Moodboard demonstrating that Two Door Cinema Club are shown as equals as they are all in the same line. However Noah and the Whale have different levels, which shows the leads in the band. All expect the top left photo have enhancing effects over the top of them.
This is a moodboard for the banners on the websites of similar bands. The Two Door cinema club banner has a music video instead of a still picture. This may entice the audience as it is eyecatching. The banners vary in length. The band title is made so it stands out to the audience. I always thought that banners would contain the band as a group, however from this research it shows how the band want to come across and come contain their digi pack album cover pictures.
Website First Draft
I researched into different websites from bands who are of similar genre to my band, for example, Mumford and Sons, Vampire Weekend, Noah and the Whale, Florence and the machine. They all have different ways of laying out their websites and what information they feel is most important to be put into the website. I also chose the most important aspects in which I think my target audience would be interested on and put them onto my website.
I researched into different ways similar bands to ours have been portrayed in their photographs. I researched into different banners on the 'Moodboard and Digi Pack' post.
My favorite picture of Noah and the Whale which I found was this as I like that they are showing no emotions, holding their instruments and comes across as a strong image of the band.
I created my own website banner which is similar to this one. To improve on this, It should be in a thinner, longer rectangle shape to look like a professional banner.
Digi Pack First Draft Pencil
I created a digi pack by looking at different existing digi packs and understanding the different styles they can be in. The digi pack has to be related to the style and image if our band and website. For my idea, I decided to put the characters on the digi pack and not the band because these people are in the narrative part of the song and make the story.

CD Design
These pictures are apprioprate for the digi pack because it relates to the song and has snap shots of what the song may be about. It shows the concept of our music video which is heartbreak.
The CD cover that Party Club has, that is already existing, does not contain the band.

Test Shots
These are pictures taken to see how the actors and actresses would look in their costumes and how these would go with the genre of my music video.
London Narative Scene-
Actress 1: Esmen Vilda
Actor 1: Liam Smith
Play ground narative scene:
Actress 2: Emily Bennett
Actor 2: Daniel Pitts
Bar scene:
Actress 1: Esmen Vilda
Actor 1: Liam Smith
Actor 3: Tope Afue
Overall I felt that the costumes looked correct on the characters and feel they were the right costumes to chose as they fit in with the genre. The two older boys are wearing the same to look as if they are in a band together, therefore wearing similar clothing to be easily identified as a band. Esmen is wearing what a typical 'indie' genre girl would wear, for example the burgundy creepers (shoes) in the narrative and the velvet dress with paddy ankle boots on. The younger children are dressed to the weather with the Emily wearing more pink to portray a girl and Dan wearing blacks and greens to portray a young boy.
Location shots
I looked at some different locations that I felt would be appropriate for my music video.
Millennium Bridge London:
Oak-field Park
Bar Mondo- Possible bar location
I chose this location as George and the Dragon fits in well with the genre I am trying to portray across. This is because it has the old, vintage feel to the location. To shoot in this location I will have to re-arrange the furniture to have the plain white wall and the laminate flooring. I got the idea for this location from 'Mumford and Sons video- The Lion Man.' I also incorporated lights to add MES into the location which is also done in this video.
Filming Evidence
