This is at the top section of the website. There are a rotation of different pictures on a time limit. As the pictures change, the colour of the background does the same but keeps the same house like theme. This grabs and keeps the audiences attention and to make them continue to look through the website. The colours which are shown are green, purple and orange. These are unisex colours are reaching out to both a male and female audience. The pictures have the same colour scheme as the colour that changes around the outside. The top part of the website portrays Florence as a person and begins to give her image across to her fans. Her name is fairly suttle at the top of the website and it uses the same font as on her digi pack.
The navigation buttons are very clear and the website is easily accessible. The font used in the title which looks as if its her handwriting which gives a casual feel and a more personal touch. The font throughout the rest of the website is clear and looks professional. It has the typical navigation titles and follows the usual codes and conventions of a music website. The iTunes bar is for advertisement as people may go on the website and buy the song then and there. The social networks are then displayed under this which is also promoting her. This shows she has Incorporated modern technical aspects such as the rss feeds. These allow fans to 'follow' her without always having to check the website. Just underneath this, there is a video of one of her songs. This gives her the opportunity to sell her music to new fans and get noticed. It is a cheap and effective way of advertising her music. The style and theme is kept the same throughout.
The website represents Florence and the Machine's image well as she is unique and you are able to tell she is in the 'indie-pop' genre.
I like the idea of there being a 'sign up' section as this is an easy way of getting all of the information fans need and this ma increase sales if there are updates given to the fans straight away.
Having a feature of Florence and the Machines different photos, may entice the audience to look at them and encourage them to go to a concert to see her live. The pictures are bright and colourful which are aesthetically pleasing to the audience.
