Costume Designs

From looking at 'Mumford and Son's' and also 'Noah and the Whale's' music videos, they tend to dress smartly and sophisticated. Therefore for the band scene I decided they should dress in this way. Both members of the band wearing similar, so they are easily identified as a band. The actor was in this costume during the narrative, as after their argument he was on his way to play his gig (therefore not changing.) 

Actor 1 and 3 costume:

I decided on a velvet dress and Chelsea boots as this is a typical indie style for a night out, which tied in perfectly with the gig, performance scene. 

Actress 1, costume 1:

This costume was for the narrative scene as it is casual indie dress, skinny jeans, printed jersey top, hoodie, leather jacket and burgundy creepers with leopard print laces.

For the narrative for the two children I chose them to be in everyday, warm clothes- as this was realistic and to be in colours which are typical boy and girl colours, pinks and creams for Emily and blues and greens for Daniel. This way they are identified and the clothes relate to them.
